Im Jahr 2022 startete WORLDIA das, was technisch unm\u00f6glich erscheint: Mikrobohrer aus Polykristallinen Diamanten (PCD) ab 0,08 mm Durchmesser, haupts\u00e4chlich f\u00fcr elektronische und medizinische Anwendungen.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Vor kurzem hat WORLDIA diese Entwicklung mit einem Portfolio von mehrz\u00e4hnigen, ultrapr\u00e4zisen Diamanten-Endfr\u00e4sen auf die n\u00e4chste Stufe gebracht. Ausgestattet mit einem festen PCD- oder bindungslosen CVD-Diamond-Schneidkopf formt WORLDIA diese mit seinen selbst entwickelten, patentierten Lasertechnologien in einer endlosen Vielfalt an Profilen, Radien, geraden und schraubenf\u00f6rmigen Zahngeometrien in Genauigkeiten von wenigen Mikrometern und genau auf die spezifische Anwendung und das Werkst\u00fcckmaterial zugeschnitten. Zu diesen Materialien geh\u00f6ren Keramik, Wolframkarbid, Glas, Verbundwerkstoffe, Kupfer, Messing und Edelmetalle.<\/p>\n<p>Durchmesser beginnen bei 0,5 mm, z.B. mit 8 Z\u00e4hnen, und erreichen bis zu 16 mm mit 720 Z\u00e4hnen. Die L\u00e4nge des mittleren Diamantkopfes kann bis zu 2 mm betragen. F\u00fcr gr\u00f6\u00dfere Durchmesser sind die Mehrzahnschneider mit gel\u00f6teten Diamantspitzen ausgestattet.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4hnliche Werkzeuge mit festem PCBN-Kopf (polykristallines kubisches Bornitrid) erg\u00e4nzen das WORLDIA-Portfolio, insbesondere f\u00fcr das Fr\u00e4sen von geh\u00e4rtetem Stahl in der Matrizen- und Formindustrie.<\/p>\n<p>Neben der Lasertechnik umfassen die Kernkompetenzen von WORLDIA die Diamantmaterialienwissenschaft und die eigene Produktion von PCD- und CVD-Diamantmaterialien sowie Diamantbeschichtungen.
